I’m pushing
off letting go
maybe being alone
isn’t lonely maybe
alone isn’t the
right word for
how I feel I keep
trying
trying so hard to
get you to walk
into my life I run
off the path looking
for you only to find
that I have lost
my way
and by the time I
stumble back
disoriented and
dizzy I forget
how to be myself
I need to stop looking
for you because
whoever you are
you will come
you will come
I need to stop
looking for you and
start trying to find
myself.
