The depth of loneliness feels unknown
Having an unwavering abyss of darkness
It blinds its victims to what others can easily see
Loneliness wraps around the spirit
As if a boa squeezing the light, joy, and hope out of the soul
Creating the endless fall into depression which only the bravest of souls can escape
Each attempt to get out only further crushing the will of life,
But in that last fleeting moment the light finds its way back
It tears away loneliness with its angelic strength
Reminding the lost that they can still be found
Making each day worth living, every dream worth pursuing
The light’s warm touch erases the cold grasp of loneliness
This light, this kindness, happily allows the depth of loneliness to be unknown
