All I have is a blank page
And ideas that I have
No words for
I know what I want to say
But I have
No words that fit
No words that work
For what I want to say
The blank space mocks me
Laughing at me
Telling me I will never write
Telling me that all my words were useless
And would never mean anything
Even now,
With words on the page
They mock me
Telling me my idea is stupid
That it wasn’t meant to exist
Outside my head
And I start to believe it
As I read over what I have
And start to hit delete
Not believing
That they are good enough
That they are meant to be heard
That I should share them
