Screams

All i hear are screams from the room beside me
the sobs from my mother
the anger from my father
thump
a cringing skin on skin punch
in this room i here screams my little brothers and my little sister
pleading screaming to my father "dont hurt mama"
they dont get there wishes
here i am hands plugging my ears to drown out the sound
of anger and tears
here i am screaming the words "dont hurt mama anymore"
