"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

I lie awake and ponder

the way of life I wander.

The world I spent believing

of all that I've been achieving.

I question the length of my loneliness,

whether it is me or of my unholiness.

So in this bed, I ponder,

where on Earth I am to wander?

I wrote this poem as I was struggling with insomnia.  A lot of things came to mind through that time, and this poem is one of them.
