Where I'm From
I am from a football field and a basketball court.
I am from five homes all different but I loved every one. My favorite house with a Basketball hoop in the driveway.
I am from a 40 acre woodlot and a lot of fishing rods in the garage.
I am from sweat dripping from my helmet and my shoes squeaking on the basketball Court.
I am from Bob and Tami our descendants here and gone.
From “working 100% every day all day.”
I am from a Uncle that played at Grand Valley State University for football and my Aunt played at Grand Valley State University for basketball.
From the Grandpa that fought in Vietnam and my Grandma that almost survived a Heart attack.
I am from all of these things.
That began, where I’m from.
