Salt of the Earth
I am more than a simple symbol
For I am the color yellow more hopeful than the sun
For I am a daisy untamed and free
For I am the emotions people can not express
I am so much more.
I am more than a simple symbol
For I am all the books unread yet still relevant
For I am love that is spread amongst others
For I am the anger of the bee, sweetness of the honey, and salt of the earth
I am so much more.
I am so much more than a simple symbol
For I am the revolutions of love taking place as we speak
For I am the calm before the storm
For I am the storm
I am so much more.
I am more than a silly symbol
For I can produce galaxies in my palms
For I can create planets in a snap
I am so much more than a simple symbol
For I am the universe as a whole, in a single cell,
And you my friend are the same.
