it wasn’t slow
yet somehow it still was
it wasn’t fast
but i didn’t expect it
it had no expectation
and it fulfilled everything i ever
needed
it was a warm fire
when i didn’t know i was cold
it was late night drives
when i realized i loved streetlights
it was millennial movies
when i realized it didn’t matter
how little happened,
because something still happened
falling in love
with you
was realizing you had
what i forgot
i needed
