If you can be anything, why not be yourself?

You.
I fell for you as the rain falls for the earth. It was beautiful, like the gleam of sunlight off of a sheet of fresh snow. And as I fell, I was blinded by the sunlight gleaming off of my heart, which gave off a red light rather than the neon of a normal gleam. Oh, how bright the red of my heart was. It was brilliant, the beauty of falling.

And then, it was ice.

It broke and was cold. The red, now splattered on the beautiful snow. My heart, incapable of understanding why it had been broken and scarred, barely beating, barely sending the oxygen through my veins.

It had left, but only briefly. Just as the birds and flowers return in the spring, it's back and blooming. The green just as beautiful as the white of snow and silver as ice, though more calming and free rather than sharp and cold.
The aroma of flowers cloud my thoughts. Put simply, this is the most beautiful thing to come my way. I am almost unable to remember what I was like before
You.
