We hold these truths

to be self-evident,

that all men are created equal,

that they are endowed by their Creator

with certain unalienable Rights,

that among these are Life, Liberty,

and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Yet, we're being jailed

because we are black.

We are being forced out of our home

we call america

because we are Muslim

or Middle Eastern.

We are not able to get married

and told to burn in hell,

because we are men who like men

and women who like women.

We are not good enough 

because we don't have a lot of money.

We are told, "Go back to your country!"

because we are Hispanic or Latino.

We hold these lies

to be self-evident,

that all men are not created equal.
