Pouring and flushing,
splashing and spraying.
Water travels east to west
and north and south.

The sun shimmers off the smooth surface
formed by the mystical inhabitants of the water.
Birds bathe in the water as it settles outward.
Turtles tan on rocks at the edge.

Each gush of water over the edge is like a fresh start—
constantly replenishing itself.
With each wind and storm
comes new life and a rainbow in the sky.

Surrounded by mossy forests
and twisted vines
flowers flourish
and bloom with simplicity.

Still pouring and flushing,
still splashing and spraying.
Water makes its way around the world—
spreading beauty and bliss.
