They caress the white canvas with
Smooth touches
Reds and blues
Hues of yellow
Spinning together
Mixing into a work of art
I’m painting the soul
The swirls of blue to show
Heartbreak
The splotches of red to show
Anger
The twists of yellow to show
An immensity of happiness
I’m painting the soul
It attaches to
It belongs to
The body… the canvas
It dries
Forming your characteristics
It mixes forming new colors… new feelings
