Early Morning Drowsiness
November 10, 2017
This morning was quite dreary, it took a while for my glassy eyes to focus on the road.
Led Zeppelin's ‘stairway to heaven’ shook my car, and I noticed the road finally.
A sea of broccoli trees stayed firm in their roots, refusing to change any colour of sorts.
On the other side lay orange and apple trees mixing in together to create a sunset.
“And as we wind on down the road,”
A swirl of the sunset dusted across the road, and I don’t think I’d ever felt more alive.
