I never really enjoyed school,
Proving to others what I can do.
Having to show the teachers,
how bright I can be.
The more that they teach,
I begin to say.
“How will this help me in life”,
“Is it really worth my time”.
Then I start to think,
How school can help me in life.
It can help in many different ways,
Ways that i never knew.
It can teach me to be more independent,
It can help me get a job later in life.
It helps me with my future,
Too become more successful.
It makes me a brighter kid,
And gives me a reason.
A reason why school is so great.
