rainy

i've been sitting back, mountain high
rain keeps washing down, but I'm still dry
in sheets,
it meets,
the shoes by the door.
i step out my front door, and into the sky
and it all looks down, and gives me a smile,
and I ask why?
"it all starts in a mile,
in another man's shoes."
is all it replies
and collectively we cry.
"i just wanna exist too."?
