Comfortable burn

Sitting in my soft cushy chair
Burning my tongue
on every sip of tea
Bamboo outside
my cold window
Slightly lit
under the moonlight
Paintings
cluttering the walls
Comforting me
Focusing on the brush strokes
Patter of the rain
Rattle of the bamboo
from the autumn wind
Taking another sip
of my hot honey
chamomile tea
Burning my tongue again.
