One long leap
divided
family
friends
my entire life
I miss the...
Soothing rumble of traffic
sweet morning air
canopy of strong oaks
summer breezes
Lost Creek Park
Every detail lies still
collecting dust in my mind
This place,
new and unknown
is now my home
I feel freedom
to roam
this safe place
The girls
down the road
have become my best friends
Now I know,
home isn’t a single dot
on a map
but where laughter nevers ends
and friendship begins
