We want to grow up
But once we are there
It's only about the money
Money for the future
Hoping it will be sunny
We leave the present behind
Nothing but the future in mind
We chase it
But when we get it
Life's over
But I'm just another hypocrite
Wanting to grow but I'm only getting older
Gaining nothing
Stuck like a boulder
I look for a high school
But only for college
Using it as a stool
Then college comes
But only for the job
A good income
But only for retirement
And now it's here
But now life is over
Cause the thought of the future
Drove us like a rover
So hold each moment
Like it's a four leave clover
Cause u don't know when life will be over
