Words are needed
Words have the power to change people.
They have the power to identify someone.
They can be simple or complex.
They can describe good times,
Or they can describe the saddened times.
Words have the power to change people.
Life without words would be confusing.
Nothing would have a name.
You would not be able to read or write.
You would not be able to communicate with others.
You would never truly get to know someone.
Words bring out the creativity in someone.
Somebody invented each and every word.
People created them using only 26 letters.
Somebody gave them each a meaning.
Somebody was creative enough to define words.
It is truly amazing; the impact words have on us.
They change us for the good or bad.
They change the world for better or worse.
They give us meaning in life.
Without words life would be meaningless.

I was having a really difficult time starting this piece becasue I had no idea what I was going to write about. Then, it hit me! I just thought I am going to write about something as simple as words. From there my poem took off.
