Lunaria
where have you gone, moon?
that glass heart of yours
is more than meets the eye
the cracks lining along
trace maps of agony
the holes and pieces
that reassemble in strength
like craters, depth adds
something akin to beauty
to your complexion
why can't you ever stay, moon?
this ice heart of mine
is not what it seems
the sides have begun to melt
tears suppressed
for so long, and yet
the puddle it forms
a well of anguish
is but a reflection
of your elusive glow
