My boyfriend and I suffer from depression. It is very hard for the two of us to say what is getting to us. We find it difficult to open up when we both know, we are in a safe place to do so. I wrote this for him so he could understand that he can talk to me. Upon finishing this piece, it became clear I wrote this for myself as well.
