Raindrop
Life is a drop of rain.
He will have the longest journey,
Rising up to the sky,
Nearly touching the heavens,
Lingering within a cloud,
Until confort sets in.
Then a storm breaks loose,
And he falls…
Unexpectedly and blind,
Not knowing where he will land.
The cycle repeats and never ends,
Much as a newborn child,
Growing up just to be born again.
Regardless, he never gives up.
As the cycle continues,
He keeps the hope.
Dreaming that maybe one day,
He will land in a body of water.
