In The Blue
October 27, 2017
I leap from the cliff
the air brushes my face
as I glide into the water,
and sink to the depths.
I settle quietly on the smooth silt,
a garden of seagrass.
I ponder in the silent haven
meditating in the blue,
My lungs start burning
as I push off the bottom.
I gulp the air,
dense with moisture
and the troubled world comes back.
