From gold to dust
Marriage, a beautiful time in a person's life
Were you're committed to a person.
But what if it’s not your choice
What if it’s forced
What if it ruins your life forever
South Sudan, a place we’re girls are married off.
Their future sold for cattle
Girls in South Sudan are money they are objects.
They are like gold.
Gold for men
Men mine for gold, sell it and off it is to another men.
Then broken into pieces. Ruined.
Ruined for ever
No escape, no choice.
Would this have been prevented?
I don’t think so
The gold would have still been broken and turned into dust.
FORGOTTEN
No escape, no help, just forgotten
