Wolves
  They didn’t speak much
But there was no need to
  They were selfish
  Anything but selfless
  They got things done
  Tied every knot
  Made no noise
  Only thought a lot
  Outcasts
  Predators
  Where are they from?
  Where do they go
They thrive in the depth of night
Sharp teeth, fur head to toe
  Not human, inhumane
These wild kids could not be tamed
They hurt their families, lost their homes
The middle of the forest is where they go
  They live in trees
  Sleep under leaves
  Never a worry
  Of who to please
  But don’t get me wrong
  They are not frightened
  Because they are safe
  Protected
  By each other’s presence
