Lifeline
The feeling of wind
On my face
My heart beating
Like a Stalin
Getting vertigo
In the sight of my eyes
The complete silence
Of night
I am witnessing it
At this very moment
I breathe in
And then
Out
Feeling the wind
Knock my lungs
Back into place
All I can feel is
My cheeks hurting
From
The laughter
And
Smiles
In me
And
Everyone else
I think
To myself
This right here
Is what
Happiness feels like
What love
And lust
Tastes like
These feelings
Are Rare
So I
Savor them
Over and over
Until they come
Again
