Silent Cries

I scream and shout,
but they never come out
I cry and cry all night
To keep my tears out of sight
I keep my distance from the light
That way I know I'm out of sight
The cries are quiet
So I don't desturb the silence
Some think my being silent
Is an act of defiance
What they don't hear
They should see
That I scream and shout
But my cries just won't come out
