Popcorn!

I wait in front of the microwave
Hearing the popcorn pop
The timer is going down 3..2..1..
Until it beeps and the popping has come to a stop
I pull out the popcorn bag
I chomp on it’s contents
The buttery popcorn melts in my mouth
Such a delicious event
I finish off the bag in minutes
That’s the honest truth
I guess it’s time to make another
To calm down my popcorn tooth
