It is from the greatest pains I have derived my greatest strengths;
I”ll never be that knight in shining armor,
of which stories preach
and princesses seek.
No,
rather I’ll be the knight whose been dented and beaten,
trodding through blood, dirt, and murk,
My sword stained and nicked,
tried and tested,
in order to stand up against what the world has to throw
at peasants like me and you.
