The darkness in my mind
Has yet again put me in a bind.
It eats me away
Pushes me into the grey
But I still hold it close.
A poisonous dose.
I can't let it go.
It's the only thing I know.
The numb that lets me feel.
Only way to heal
The cold that keeps me warm,
A shelter from the storm.
An internal war zone
That can't be shown
