The Strange Man

I lay in my bed filled with gloom,
For there is a strange man in the bathroom.
he has brown hair, brown eyes, big feet;
he stands there and watches me brush my teeth.
From whence he came, I do not know,
no one else seems to notice him, though.
I am scared to shower, to dress, to pee,
for this strange man just stares at me.
I try to make nice conversation,
but he disappears in the condensation.
When it’s dark, he is nowhere to be seen;
for some reason he looks just like me!
So one day out of the blue,
I decided to confront this dude.
I said, “What are you doing here?”
He didn’t respond, though it was clear
when he came closer as I drew near,
that I was talking to a mirror!
