Why Won't You Leave?
You are a hurricane
Disregarding everything in your way
You do not care who you hurt
You will treat everyone like dirt
My phone buzzes for the flood warning
Nevermind it is just you texting me good morning
Your eyes are clashes of thunder hidden in the dark gray clouds
Oh gosh I have never heard anything so loud
Your arms are the length of the stormy horizon
You control the waves and ignore Poseidon
Chaos turns in the hearts of others
But you stand still knowing you beat wonders

What inspired this poem is my constant heartbreak. The reoccuring sadness, dissapointment and gloom similar to a natural disaster.
