Squealing Wheels
It was a bright sunny day but something was
Off,
As I was driving
I had kept feeling this defining
Sensation,
Then it happened in a flash the tires were
Squealing
And the truck was moving
Violently,
Then we were on a hill,
the air still
Breathless
My heading spinning with
Fear
Adrenaline coursing, through my veins like a trout going upstream,
Than it was over
My first car accident
In the books,
In the horror section of my mental
library.

this poem was inspired from my first car accident, and how I saw it from my perspective.
