Dissociating
I am dissolving,
The salt of my skin and
The iron of my blood
Mixing, swirling,
Becoming nothing more than
Compounds within compounds.
I am dissipating,
Evaporating into cold air,
Into vapor and into clouds,
Unable to feel,
Except briefly and fleetingly
As the fog that licks the Earth.
