Where I'm From
I am from across the border
From foster home to a forever home
In LOU and the 502
With a forever family
I am from sparkly bows and pom poms
To rolling our matts and running 10 laps
To shin splints and rolled ankles
That feel like you should cut your leg right off
I am from a small bedroom
With yellow walls as bright as a flame in the night
To moving on to a bigger bedroom
With dark blue walls as deep and dark as the ocean
I am from the highlands
From walking up hills that are mountain
and riding my bike on winding roads
And staying out until midnight
And waking up when its light
I am from going out to parties and picnics
That fill up your summer
To Waterfront Wednesday and Forecastle
I am from a home, a family, and a place i will always love
