I am from…

I am from 6:30 to 9:00 at nights,
moving from home to work,
from one house to another making one tiring night.

I am from a ear popping family,
   with limitless work to be done,
moving 50 plus pound objects from here to there.

I am from a elephant like appetite,
with art produced in our kitchens,
making stacks of dishes needed to be cleaned.

I am from a proud Puerto Rican heritage,
that isn't afraid to meet new people,
who makes others feel as one.
