I did not know
I did not know that
the day in which
the light would leave
and I would become helpless
to the demons inside
I did not realize that
the day that
the sky would
rain fire and
leave me hopeless that
love will
always win
in the end
I could not comprehend
the pain
I would feel
As I heard the words
"....He did not make it"
I could have
had I known
said goodbyes to
the hearts that
would never beat
after that day
The day that
those man-made
grim reapers
would fall from
The Sky
I did not know
