I don’t live in the past

Nor do I dwell in the future
I take root in the inescapable between
Where a moment can reach on forever
Without a care
There is no rather be
Only a here now
And where nothing is placid
Everything is colorful
Hopes are not shattered
Promises unbroken
The sky never meets the sea
I don’t live in the past
Nor do I dwell in the future
I thrive in the now
In this inescapable between.
