Anger builds slowly
Stewing, growing
Forming into something ferocious and huge.
I feel it in my stomach
Bubbling
And I want to let it go
But I can’t.
It’s fighting me.
It’s eating me.
I want it to go away
But I’m afraid.
What if when it goes away
I’m empty?
I guess the real question is
Is it better to be angry
Or feel nothing at all?
