The Nomad

Has
24 hours at a patriotic roadside trinket shop
Hears
An hourly weather update passing through green mountains, along a dusty road
Wades
In extreme, clear ocean tides over fiery sand
Passes
Bright blue construction barring a dusty building
Sees
The sky lighting with bright, colourful fireworks
Laughs
Along with torrential rain, kicking up puddles of water
Breathes
The crisp air, pointed and accented mountains behind a musty service train
Sings
To a misty cloud covering a little frozen lake
Watches
A sea of buildings, shadows in the fading light
Salutes
A Mars-rocked, dormant volcano
Reaches
The other coast with western dreams
Wants
A red and yellow stone cobbled street
With
Stone walls, moss peeking through the cracks
Perhaps
And old chimney, black and sooty
Across
That old rickety bridge, high above a rushing, gushing river
No longer
Is he wandering
