Of the sea

When I swim I'm

No one's stopping me.

A sweet descent
No one can save me
Not even myself
I can't swim
Without
Drowning
I can't

Without
Water
Filling.
Killing.
My lungs
Instead the water
Holds me

I'm supposed to be a good swimmer
But I can't swim

A sweet descent
For my
Tears bury
Me
And make me
DROWN.

I wrote this piece for a school project. It supposed to be an ironic poem. Someone who's able to swim all of a sudden feels like there drowning. This can also be a metaphor for life because this could mean someone who had great control over their life lost it.
