Alone
Alone
I hear their screams
I hear their shouts
No matter how hard I try
I can’t shut them out
Then they are gone
And I’m alone
Wishing they would come home
They make me scared
They make me sad
Whatever it is
They are always mad
I can’t hide
I can only cry
All alone
In my big home
They won’t come
They won’t
They won’t come home
They are gone
I don’t see them much
I have lost the feeling of their touch
I miss them
When they come
They give me treats
They give me sweets
But I just want them home
When they are home
I think
“At least I’m not truly alone”
