Don’t worry little angel just close your eyes
Clear your thoughts and look up to the sky
Mom and dad will be done talking soon
Sing a song, lose yourself in the tune

Little Angel, please don’t cry
I know you’re scared, tell me don’t be shy
Your daddy is just sick, he didn’t mean to hit you
Look the birds are chirping, and the sky is blue

My little angel, come sit by me
I’ll tell you a story and show you the sea
Your mommy is strong don’t worry
I know last time this happened it was kinda blurry

My little angel, ignore that smell
Your dad is drunk, but it’s just a spell
He comes home and sits in his chair
I know it seems like he doesn’t care

Little Angel, please don’t leave me yet
Wipe your forehead it’s full of sweat
Why is there blood on your shirt?
I’m so sorry, I know it must hurt

Little angel, you left me here
I lost you to a bullet and a few beers
That bullet pierced through your chest
I miss you, death is such an unwanted guest

Little angel, I feel you with me
Sitting by me, looking at that old birch tree
Remember looking at those daisies on the hill
Till we meet again sincerely your windowsill
