They are Society
I am running, running away from them
From the people who scream my name and demand my blood
From the people who are my chains, I am running
Drenched in sweat, covered in dirt, dust, grime
I keep running, I see sunshine
The light at the end of the tunnel, the hope, the future
But I am caught
There's a net, it is being cast over my being
Pulled, I am being pulled backward, reeled in like a fish
I try to run, to escape, but these chains are strong and I fear I wil never be rid of them
They are society

This is how I feel when I roam through my high school hallways, the bondage of society always sucking me in and taking away my individuality.
