Shifted Perspective
We view ourselves as giants, like we are the largest thing the world has to offer
We see the world revolving around us entirely
Yet we are miniscule compared to the vastness of the universe
Once we are viewed from a different perspective, the whole world shifts
From a plane, we look down and we are no longer giants
We are a figment of the world, and are smaller than ants
We watch the clouds sail by, like there is nothing beneath them
Yet the entire universe is right there before our eyes
Our perspective shifts as we look down at the world from a plane
We can see everything now- the cities, states, countries, and seas
However we cannot see ourselves- the humans
The ones who think they are so monumental
We are left- fading into the horizon
Shrinking, shrinking, shrinking
Now, we feel small and we are no longer giants
We see that the world consists of more than we ever perceived
