Repeated vowels are stuttered stalling stuck
My lungs dyingly squeeze weakness into the atmosphere
Tension in my muscles
Knots in my brain
Veins of blue holding shaken cells rush to comfort, pooling to my feet
Beatings slow, my loving muscle twists, shrinks, cries in pain
Apologies for my time being, a change too difficult to alter
A tear to cool a smile to fool

The author's comments:

I created this poem to add to my creative project which consisted of several poems following the alphabet A-Z. Each poem was titled a feeling or an emotion and I created a poem to fit each one. I used anxiety for the lettter A.
