The Sea

The sea rises and falls like a hyptnotist’s watch,
It lulls me to sleep,
In my sleep it calls to me,
I walk along the green water every night in my dreams, waiting,
Waiting to hear its song,
It’s song of life and death, beauty and pain, love and sorrow,
Finally the day comes, and I am ready,
Ready to leave this world and walk along the waves forever,
To bask in its beauty for eternity
