The Great Unknown
I became one
With the universe
The day I laid down
Closed my eyes
And dreamt.
Black
Blue
Violent Purple
Stardust
Colors dance on oxygenless air
What lies beyond it?
Is there another side?
I don’t know.
In space, there is no concept of time
No weight
My eyes water
My fingertips tingle
It’s like I’m not here
Space sounds like nothing.
The galaxy sounds like soft bells and synthesizers
The universe sounds like one singular cello
I don’t know what it is
About the universe,
But it’s dangerously safe
As I exist
I feel at peace.
Slow, Content
The endless night cradles me.
As I float through my minds Great Unknown,
I think I’m smiling
Well,
I hope I am
