Exceptions
I believe in Murphy’s Law
Simply put, “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.”
The chances of seeing someone you know exponentially increase when you’re with someone you don’t want to be seen with, its pure science.
Or when, you’re dead certain you’ve lost something but mama always finds a way to prove you wrong again and again and again.
But sometimes the toast doesn’t always fall butter side down.
Sometimes opening up to someone doesn’t mean betrayal,
And you can be like two weightless beings drifting among the blue covers of a vast ocean bed,
Completely content in sheets of rapture, tightly cocooned yourselves in the arms of the other
Floating silently above the coral sleeping world below,
Vulnerable.
One day hoping to baptize yourselves in that moment.
Realizing.
Yes, I may believe in Murphy's Law,
But I also believe in exceptions.
