Fading to black
Soon the lights are going to dim to black
and we'll be dead motionless bodies in the ground
underneath the ground where people are living their lives
the same ground we used to live on
the same ground we used to love on
we used to think the world revolved around us
that the whole world felt it when our hearts shattered into a million broken pieces
and now,
our hearts no longer beat
and we no longer matter to this world
we are apart of the ground and no ones going to know our story, our legacy
no ones going to care
no ones going to remember when you sat with them at lunch because they had no other friends
no ones going to remember that time you stood up for them when the whole world was against them
no ones going to remember all of the love you gave them when they felt empty and alone
no ones going to remember you
everyone who you think is important now,
won't be soon
soon,
we'll all be dead motionless bodies in the ground
the ground that others are now living their soon to be forgotten lives on
